LIKE BOOKS, LIKE HuMANS
Everyone is living a story. Every challenge we face, the mistakes we make, the highs and lows, the pleasure and misery, success and failure, life lessons, together make up the backdrop of our story. Do you know what else has all the above things?
A Book. Collectively we humans are the largest collection of books, no library is bigger or more diverse than the world of human beings around us.
Experiences inclusive of success, failure, stigma, pride, fears, and whatnot.
STRANGERS OR HUMANS?
With so many walking, talking books surrounding us including ourselves, what's stopping us from experiencing(reading) them and expressing(being read) ourselves to them?
What stops us from having a friendly meaningful conversation with a stranger, even when they are a human like us?
stranger danger - we are taught from a young age to not trust strangers.
we are not sure how the other person would respond to our friendly hi!.
It's too much of an effort, why go out and meet people when we could text people from the comfort of our homes?
OUR DREAM
Our dream is to go back to the roots and create an environment where people can express themselves and experience the humanity around them. Our perspective must change towards people, a stranger is just a potential friend you haven't had coffee with.
We aspire to build a high-trust community where strangers do not hesitate to meet over a coffee/tea to talk about their interests, stigma, pride, fears or anything, "nothing more".
Only if people could see each other as books with experiences and not as lifeless profiles of some social media/dating app.
A place where I can enjoy my expresso over a crisp meaningful conversation.
Is it too much to ask?
